This year will make it the 34th time that the NSRA - Street Rod Nationals South® have been in Knoxville. It is going to be really exciting with an all time high number of participants and visitors predicted. There should be over 200 manufacturer and dealer displays, with various other attractions such as the Swap Meet and Womens World.
The National Street Rod Association® defines a Street Rod as a modernized vintage vehicle that must be of Pre 1949 manufacture date. The cars are equipped with some of the latest options available. Including but not limited to disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel. Most of the participants attending have updated the engine and drive train to enable the owner to cruise in comfort and style, while at the same time safely maintaining modern speeds on the road. This allows owners to bring in vehicles from all over the United States. All vehicles must be driven on to the grounds.

Street Rod Nationals South is an excellent event for spectators to attend. All that take the time to participate will be treated to some of the most gorgeous, well built vintage vehicles ever assembled in one the same place. One of the special attractions for spectators is they can walk right up to the vehicles and take the time to get an up close and personal look. All are in the open and can be examined top to bottom, front to back, inside and out. While the beautiful paint and other features on the car should not be touched, visitors are free to look at them for as long as they like.
